nSalah ("the app", "the website", "we") provides prayer times, Quran audio and text, duas, and related Islamic tools at salah.nworko.com and, where published, as an Android app on Google Play. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.
nSalah does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information to use the app.
Your preferences (language, theme, text size, Comfort Mode), prayer log, Qada counters, Azkar favorites, quiz streak, and saved Quran audio for offline playback are stored locally on your device using browser storage (localStorage) or, in the app, its Android equivalent. This data is never transmitted to our servers because we do not operate any — nSalah is a static, serverless app.
If you grant location access, it is used only on your device to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. Your coordinates are sent to a prayer-times calculation API solely to compute those times for you and are not stored by us.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which features are used, so we can improve the app. Analytics cookies are only enabled after you accept the cookie consent banner, and Google Consent Mode is used to reflect your choice. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for salah.nworko.com. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
The nSalah Android app may display ads served by Google AdMob to support free access to the app. AdMob may collect device and usage identifiers (such as the advertising ID) to serve and measure ads, subject to your Android ad settings and consent choices. The salah.nworko.com website itself does not show ads. See Google's How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services for details.
nSalah is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy as the app changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
